so they sung your praises, even as they filled your head with tales of heroes and how you were meant to protect and serve this great little piece of paradise. and before you knew it, they had sent poor little, idealistic you off to the army to experience first hand exactly what protecting this city actually entailed.[break][break]
cutting down waves upon endless waves of monsters wasn't the hard part, in fact you were quite good at it. no, it was the sudden shock which came with the realization that the city was so horribly flawed and really not worth protecting that broke you.[break]
in that turmoil heroes were a terribly childish concept to hang on to, and soon you found a better goal to dedicate your efforts to; yourself.[break]
so you fought your way to the top, with the same ruthless efficiency you once cut down monsters with. now all the power you could have ever wanted is at your fingertips.[break]
