The sorts of cautionary tales designed to discipline and terrorize children, figures of myths—only the monsters are very real, very present, and dare we say it?—lying in wait in Paris's deepest innards.[break][break]
The reality is that nowhere is safe, nowhere is sacred. It's a matter of time before the strigoi are tired of hiding, of contenting themselves to the heads of livestock the Protectorate deliver upon them, like a meager ration. There's a feast aboveground and all of Paris to take, is the prevailing thought. [break][break]
Unbeknownst to their King, eleven strigoi emerge en masse from a subway tunnel at midday and feast. The Place de la Bastille becomes the scene of havoc, bloodshed, a veritable massacre of commoners. [break][break]
Where is the security, the protection the magicians so promised them? [break]

Our first event is a strigoi attack; mostly commoners were casualties of the massacre. We have a main event thread here. The event is site wide and open to everyone to participate in, and we hope to make it member driven. Therefore feel free to create side threads tagged [event], and have fun!
