Keep drama off-site and out of the cbox; if you have an issue, have a private and mature discussion about it with the other person and/or contact an admin. No activity checks, just occasional roll calls to keep things tidy. We understand stuff happens, loss of interest, etc. Be polite and drop us a note if you're leaving temporarily or permanently, and we'll always be happy to welcome you back—no judgment. [break][break]

Animanga/animanga-style fcs only. Use a 100x100 icon for the miniprof; fill it out completely. No signatures. One character per account; please register as your character's first name for easy tagging (@name) and change the display name to first last. Make as many characters as you can handle, but try to be active on each one and log in to each everyday.[break][break]
No mary sues, god-modding, etc. Basically don't piss off your partner. Note that there's no strict magic/combat system here to complicate interactions, only general guidelines as to what each member group is capable of power-wise. Black Sun is about plot-driven power dynamics and struggle, not one overpowered character/group. Do not exploit this.[break][break]
There's no word count requirement or any other expectation for rp posts besides literacy. Write however tense/length/style is most comfortable and fun for you, though be mindful of your thread partner.[break][break]
Follow the Proboards TOS (PG-13 they say). Don't get the site shut down for explicit material. Use your discretion—if a thread's heading in that direction you can a) fade to black, b) get real vague, or c) take it off-site.
