he stands, watching her through the window, slits between the blinds, as his heart breaks again, again, again. at each movement, a new stabbing pain in his heart. he had trusted her, given her his heart, and then he fixes it by breaking her, one by one by one, with the sin she loves so much. she is ruined, he is whole.[break][break]
there is nothing more that he wants more than to love someone[break][break]
it is generally acknowledged that julian falls head over heels too fast, too hard. a modern day romeo, he wants to be romeo because it’s awfully romantic and the thought of dying for love is gleeful and a possibility in the future. he is not romeo. he will never be romeo.[break][break]
at the age of ten, julian watched as his mother invited strange men into their house while his father worked. he heard the strange noises, and he tried to ignore it while cuddling up to stuffykins. it doesn’t help, because the walls are paper thin and his mother is loud. he never did know if his father found out, for after a year of it he decided he was sick of whatever it was that was happening and tagged along with his father to work.[break][break]
a child among officers, he wasn’t exactly allowed to do much of anything. his father worked the weekdays and weekends, and when he wasn’t at school he went to the precinct. there he fell in love - sixteen and young and in love with the receptionist that was married. the only one he didn’t manage to harm in his bloodthirsty revenge.[break][break]
his father was a detective, and he wanted to be just like him, but determined not to let what happened to his father happen to him. he’d investigate - “investigate” all the things he found suspicious, make sure the bad people got caught. never in a million years did he think for a second he might be one of them.[break][break]
he draws them in with his sweet disposition. he is kind, chivalrous, the perfect gentleman. kind of. he is nothing but sweet and caring. a month, two months, the paranoia eventually gets him. he cannot leave them alone. he drops by everyday, becomes clingy, they leave him, he hurts them.
