it was the middle of the night, and paris was beautiful.
if you were in the inner heart, of course. of which piper currently was - even though she had absolutely no right to be there. and this time she was alone. she had climbed the walls and she probably disturbed a lot of people by literally climbing onto their roofs and jumping across them. what did they call this - parkour or something stupid like that?
she was alone this time, but she liked looking at people from above. even if it was a bit of a hazard and she could die. but it hadn't happened yet and she wasn't counting on it happening.
she sat down and looked at the lights of the eiffel tower in the distance to the south and the seine reflecting those very lights. it was lethargic and beautiful. for a moment, anyways. |
