@ruba so wil and ruba would def have a working, business relationship; wilmer could be like the liasion between her and the army proper? they both have little interest in politics, and are high ranked more for their capability and usefulness than political savvy/connections. he visits her pretty frequently for work matters, and i think wilmer would start seeing and treating her as the closest thing to a friend; like at mandatory magician councils or smth they'd sit together idk. she's someone he genuinely respects and admires for her craft and would talk to her about his vision for the world and stuff SO
if/when ruba joins the resistance, if wil finds out he'd feel a little betrayed but mostly just...completely confused as to why she did it. while wil's not happy with the govt (he thinks they've grown complacent and aren't doing /enough/), he's still loyal to it (for now) and wants to reform it from the inside maybe. he has the typical elitist view of commoners and sees the resistance as a group of rabblerousers who're doing nothing but causing trouble.
actually if wil does find out he'd probably try and go personally convince her she's making an error in reasoning instead of/before reporting her as a traitor to the protectorate ya feel |

wilmer cook yep yep i don't have much but agreement lmao. but yeah, i like the idea of a friendship(?), and a strong mutual trust. and i feel like she'd respect him enough to try and explain herself to wil, too. honestly, i think he might pick up on foreshadowing of her rebellion, especially if they've known one another for a while, because she's a lot less passive and bored??
for the present, i love the idea of a thread where they're talking about their mutual visions - because in a lot of ways they're both striving for a different goal by very different means. idk |

judah stafford yin's like, the biggest fangirl of the king, i feel. so yeah, while obviously she'd be careful around him to not upset him, that's gonna be pretty impossible b/c since when does yin know how not to upset anyone other than like, not telling them to go away. but she likes humans so... i think she'd be really, really curious about him, more so because he seems so angry and i bet most livestock aren't, and well, because he's deaf. yin doesn't understand human defects, and of course since strigoi heal by themselves she becomes even more curious. yeah, she'll keep talking to the deaf guy. lmao. also, when did judah become the king's plaything? right from the start of him becoming livestock, or? |

sigrun i feel audra and sigrun would get on quite well, just because they're both quite... non aggressive for djinns. however audra is quite the uh, haughty type? i'm not quite sure yet because i haven't started to play her out yet but basically she's a tsundere. audra's odd in that she seems very human for some reason, like, i feel she'd sort of admire sigrun in a way because she's so different from her. again, idk where i'm going with this, gomen. |

yin judah hates everyone but he'd hate yin especially, i think. he doesn't really like to be treated 'special' or like an anomaly, because he's still considered subhuman as livestock. most of the time he likes to forget he's the prized pet. it might be interesting to see how yin feels about his flagrant disrespect of the king - it doesn't have to be about that, but i'd love a confrontation between these two. yin wouldn't want to hurt him and piss off the king, but he'd really push it.
audra yeah, they're not aggressive but totally different otherwise so it would be fun. sigrun is very non-human, and love for them to somehow? get to talking? ya idk where it's going either but yolo it up |
