What happens when mankind, planet Earth's dominant species- tries to save itself from extinction? In the year 2215, Earth underwent a global catastrophic event. However, ten years before that, another crisis had begun. A man-made crisis.
In the capital city of Japan, Tokyo, animals were the first to be affected. There were reports of zoo animals turning unnaturally aggressive to one another, even attacking their handlers. Domestic pets were affected similarly, next. Fatal animal attacks rose 120% within one year, and there were no signs of positive changes.
Amidst all these attacks, there were the disappearances. At first it was just inanimate objects and parts of the environment. Trees. Park benches. Cars. And then people started vanishing, often in plain sight.
Unbeknownst to the general public, the cause of the chaos belonged to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. MEXT had approved funds for the Quantum Research Institute, whose mission was to build a Space-Time Transporter, designed to send the whole population of 2215 to 2227 in an effort to save mankind.
However, the team made an error when it concerned the Law of Conservation of Mass. Something went wrong during activation of the Relocation Project, transporting most of the Human population into another era.
With the Human population down to 10,000, it is only a matter of time before the Human race dies out. Until then, wild and domestic animals are roaming free, doing what they do can to survive in what's left of Human civilisation.
