Iron fills your mouth like molten steel, poured down your throat and coating your insides. You want to spit it out, but they won't let you.
Monsters. Glowing eyes. Sharp teeth that dig like spikes deep into your neck, your arms, your thighs. Anywhere they want, they take it from you.
They spill their own blood upon you, their alter, and share their life with yours. How humble, they think of themselves, but you didn't ask for this nor did you want it.
They laugh. "You should be grateful!" They say. Near-immortality, forever young and beautiful. It all sounds like such great trades, but he wants his mortality and humanity. He wants to grow old, have children, live a fruitful life.
