"Hey there~" He purrs as he's leaned up against the wall. His arms are crossed, eyes staring down the other male as he walks by. "I've been looking for you and it seems I've finally... Finally... found you~"
He pushes off the wall, wet from a recent rain, and walks up to the other, letting his fingertips brush along his shoulder as he circles round him. "You're quite the popular man, Jonah. I've heard so much about you."
Malakai pauses behind him, face at his shoulder, mouth at his ear. "Please, tell me more about yourself."

his feet carry him along familiar streets cutting through cluttered buildings covered in grime but filled of glittering wares and succulent smells. something beautiful can be found in these derelict buildings, in the neglected streets. skepticism would meet him if he voice aloud the little thought. what can be beautiful about such a rundown place? everything, in the people struggling to live, to thrive, and the homes they made in these ruined buildings, the lives they made.
deep in musings, he nearly misses the voice calling out to him. so insistent the voice that it draws his eyes. a shock of pink, skin so beautifully bronzed. this man so wonderfully build is quite handsome, and something in the way he addresses him gathers his attention up and refuses to let it go.
“you know my name, but we haven’t met. i don’t know your name.”

He laughs softly, moving his hands to Jonah's eyes, covering them gently so that he can't see, only focus on Malakai's soothing voice.
"Of course you don't know my name. We haven't ever met! You've said so yourself," he replies with soft enthusiasm. "But, that doesn't mean I can't know about you, Jonah Sterling. You of all people should know why someone would know of you, or does your reputation surpass you?"
The seraph clicks his tongue with disappointment and he purrs irritably. "Word travels through the grapevine and I eat directly from the healthy, green vines my friend. Those grapes are so ripened and delicious, why... I can't help myself but indulge in their juicy flavors!"
A gossip whore, Malakai is, loving every little detail he can get his bronzed hands on.
"So tell me; are the rumors true?" He asks, pulling away so that he can circle around to the other man's front, face him with his devilish smile. "Are you the cult leader everyone is talking about?"

slowly a smile turns his mouth up. the hand covering his eyes is warm, pleasantly so, yet he pushes it down from concealing his vision.
“word sure gets around.” a little titter, soft and melodic. he still holds the man’s large, sun kissed hand. “though i wouldn’t say i’m a leader of such a thing. people merely flock to see me. a miracle was worked on me, but of course, you know that.”
and miracles he worked on those who flocked to see him lead to a following.

"I do know that," he replies as he looks this boy over, grinning so broadly. "But, a leader you are. Even if you aren't self-appointed. They flock to you because you guide them, Jonah. So very interesting~ You give them hope, do you not? Because of the miracle worked on you? Surely, they hope that it will, too, work on them?"
He reaches up and pets along the side of Jonah's face, so warm and soft.

"you know a lot." but the accuracy of his information was questionable. how much truth could there be to rumors? "you've heard all this from the grape vine?"
so far from a leader he was, though easy the mistake was to make. true, many followed him and sought from him guidance and a miracle, but little did he have to offer them. they flocked to him, so many and so varied.
"nice to meet you." pleasantries this introduction was, so far from the matter. "what do you need from me?"

"I have my sources; don't worry about those," he replies coolly, a smile still spread across his beautifully tanned face.
"What do I need?" He asks, tilting his head. "It's easy... Just..."
He reaches up, plays with a bit of the boy's silver hair. "Tell me what it was like when that miracle worked on you. What did you feel? What did you see?"
He has to know. He has a good reason why.
