Sunshine and laughter fill Felicity's earliest memories as well as the faces of her family and their farm. Life had been well and good. There was nothing she could possibly find to complain about. Well, except for the fact that her parents always hid the sorrow they felt when they had to give up their firstborn son. In her family, they called him William. But even so, her life had been happy with her parents, their farm, and her brothers.[break][break]
Perhaps that pain her parents carried affected her decision for children. She had never wanted to experience such agony like that.[break][break]
Unfortunately, fate had not been so kind. She experienced the exact same thing they did when her son was ripped away from her and her husband. No matter how much she fought against the law and the system, she was never going to have her son back. This inspired a hate for the magicians and everything that they stood for.[break][break]
They were breaking apart families and they couldn't care any less. It infuriated her like nothing else had done before.[break][break]
Felicity joined the resistance a year after she had her daughter, Hope. Her husband had died from sickness and she no longer had anything else but her daughter and her need to avenge all those families that had been affected by the laws instilled by the magicians. Her lost son had deserved better as well as the other children. She would not stop until there was justice.
