wilmer cook is a high-ranking military magician who has a single-minded drive to better the world. his fatal flaw is probably his belief that only his vision of how to go about doing that is correct and paramount to everything else. maybe also working himself 24/7 to the bone. [break][break]
he keeps to himself, not really concerned with making friends for emotional fulfillment. the people wilmer would get along with best are people he can respect, or find useful, or share/further his vision of the world. i'm thinking other military personnel, probably. [break][break]
enemies, well... wilmer isn't really trusted by other magicians in government, because he's perceived as dangerous—powerful and possibly insubordinate if a government rule/order conflicts with his personal belief (ex: sheltering a rogue vampire he was supposed to kill in his house). on his part, wilmer's not power-hungry. he's happy to take on more responsibilities he can maybe handle without recognition and work within the established system. he sees djinn as tools, doesn't trust them, and has some half-baked idea of driving the strigoi out of paris. yuzhu is vamp food and obsessed with trying to find her m.i.a. older sister. i guess yuzhu can be endearing since her default personality is very bubbly and friendly, but don't trust her because she's basically parasitic? she depends heavily on other people and if you're a sucker she'll ironically!! bleed you dry emotionally.[break][break]
she has a childish mentality when it comes to relationships that's almost an eye for an eye? you're either loved or hated depending on how she's treated, and yuzhu can hold grudges with a vengeance.[break][break]
right now what she can do and where she can go is restricted by the strigoi, so probably only plots with fellow livestock and strigoi are possible.

tate was about as content as a commoner could get working as an errand boy for a magician, living a modest life in the slums and going to church every sunday. he's catholic and his faith is really, really vital to him—he grew up molded and shaped by christian ideals (love is patient, love is kind, etc) and it's become a safe identity for him. he has an anxious disposition, really timid and meek, and has probably taken this sheep metaphor to the extreme when it comes to his personality. then he got swept up in jonah's cult, so that's really become everything now and arguably has corrupted/twisted his faith.[break][break]

I don’t normally do this but Wilmer’s pretty cute and Claude wouldn’t mind some face time ; ) they both have something in common a vision of a better Paris. Probably because Claude’s involves more or less setting Paris ablaze they don’t always see eye to eye. And due to the status of their positions Wilmer might meet and talk with Claude, y’know looking for a different perspective/conflicting view. Well, seeing how kris has taken your little vampire to play dress up with, they really need to have a thread together, yes? I think we mentioned they would've known each other for a little while and act like friends to each other's faces, but they're both so fake.
I do like the idea though that even as kris acts fake around wilmer, he would be really heartbroken and betrayed if wilmer ever did anything to break or damage the assumed friendship they had. It's as if they'd been around each other so long that a true friendship of sorts, as toxic as it would be, has formed and anything that would break them apart would probably devastate him.
There's also the fact that his vampire has bitten him and drank from him without asking first, so he has that to hold over wilmer's head. of course, even as he has this blackmail, the before mentioned friendship status would still be in affect. he'd still be upset if wilmer did anything to cut ties or to hurt their friendship. we'll ignore the fact that BLACKMAIL is enough to fuck up a relationship, but it's okay if kris does it. wilmer isn't allowed to.

KRISTOFFER KROWE yes yes yes!!! i like the idea that they've known each other long enough that if nothing else that'd make them real friends....TBH wilmer would probably think kris is... frivolous i guess? and he'd be annoyed if kris were to drag him to a social event or smth like that b/c hello he has real work 2 do >:C
honestly just the fact that kris knows he's sheltering corbett is already blackmail enough in wil's mind, whether or not kris would really sell him out. wil's p paranoid, and he'd probably act colder/more cautious around kris knowing kris could potentially be his downfall. he wants to cut ties, but i doubt kris would let him!!
also kris hurt corbett, and even tho cor did drink from him first, wil is Not Happy abt that and is definitely more sympathetic to corbett. so that's another thing to put their falling-apart friendship on the rocks. |

wilmer cook Yes exactly. To be honest, kris did it in a panic, so expect a lot of sniveling and sob story apologies in the very near future. Because as much as he is an ass, he also doesn't want to be, and is deathly afraid to be, alone and wilmer is one of the very few people he's known the longest.

fang yuzhu so yuzhu reminds zelda kinda of herself when she was a human?? yeah. she's something that zelda can't really hurt, but she can't exactly let her go either. i think she's zelda's "personal favorite" only to try and keep her from others that would legit hurt her.
like zelda probably threatens to kill her a lot if she steps out of line, holds a sword to her throat, but only really when they're in public?? yeah. |

zelda harim this is cute yes!! i think yuzhu would really grow to like zelda bc zelda protects her and treats her more kindly than other strigoi (also that zelda was once human), and in some ways would depend on her like an older sister. yuzhu would show her affection pretty obviously when they're not in public, and def is unafraid/less wary around zelda bc she knows the other wouldn't /actually/ kill her.
speaking of this yin will have to come into the picture bc yin's basically made yuzhu into her personal pet and is v possessive....i can actually see yuzhu going to zelda whenever yin goes too far, drinks too much or breaks a bone or smth; basically whenever yin pisses her off and yuzhu wants to get back at her for it by clinging to zelda..... tbh yuzhu's a bitch |

zelda harim fang yuzhu yin be mad. while i can see her wanting zelda dead anyway because yin doesn't really care for other strigoi, at the same time i think when her mood is slightly better she'd see zelda as a rival for yuzhu's affections. not that yin ever gets yuzhu's affection anyway laughs but yeah just... don't resist yin's efforts to take yuzhu back and all is semi good. idk... the more i play yin the more i dont know what she is. |

tate owens they should be neighbours. i... already mentioned this i know but i think erika would treat him like a baby brother, but would never hide her disdain for his religious values, although i don't think erika's exactly malicious about it, either. she's just not a good person, lmao.
